Karilee Barfuss "Mrs. Barfuss is an amazing teacher. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She cares so much about everyone and everything at VMS. She is always the first teacher that talks to me in the morning. She is genuinely interested in what is happening in VMS's student's lives. She makes my life so much easier as a student. She has taught me to enjoy English instead of just doing it because I have to. Mrs. Barfuss is a byproduct of what an outstanding teacher is. She 100% deserves to be teacher of the year. I absolutely LOVE having Mrs. Barfuss as a teacher! "

CONGRATULATIONS to our STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK: Elyse Thorpe! "She spends a lot of time outside of class supporting clubs like Future City and NJHS. My daughter has excelled in English since having her as a teacher. She keeps a rigorous but attainable schedule for students. She is approachable and helpful to students and parents. I’m so thankful my daughter has had her as a teacher for multiple years. I feel like she prepares students for the future. I think she is one of the best teachers at Victory and is one of the reasons it’s such an amazing school."
