Last week during the VMS away game against Lewis and Clark, our girls secured a solid win with 41-25. They are currently 1-0. Check out our VMS calendar basketball schedule and come out to cheer them on!
NJHS members, led by Ms. Thorpe, volunteered at Boo at the Zoo this past weekend! Thank you for your leadership and service.
Both the 7th Grade Concert Band and the 8th Grade Symphonic Band are sharing the evening with the Treasure Valley Concert Band. The TVCB is a community ensemble comprised of musicians from all walks of life. Mr. Grzanic has performed with this ensemble off-and-on for years and we are excited to finally be able to host this group. The performance order for the evening will be 7th grade band, 8th grade band, TVCB, and then the 8th grade band members will join TVCB for a combined piece.
Fan Friday was done well as our last "Red Ribbon Week" Celebration Week dress up day. Thank you to all the Kodiaks who participated this week! Your smiles and energy were fun to watch.
Just a friendly reminder that Monday, Oct. 31st is NOT a school dress up day. Enjoy your Halloween and Pumpkin Harvest weekend!
More Throwback Thursday Super Stars!
Throwback Thursday at VMS! The question today wasn't: which decade is represented? The question became: which decade is not represented? Great job being spirited, Kodiaks!
Wacky Wednesday at VMS!
Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Leaders were invited to attend an event at the BSU Stueckle Sky Center. After learning about the benefits of quality nutrition and food insecurity within our community, they created a plan, presented it in front of a panel of judges and then won $1,500 for our school! We are so proud of these students for being creative, kind, and compassionate about health! Details on the plan will be released and implemented within our school soon. Way to go 8th grade FUTP60 students!
Congratulations to our 2022 District Football Champions Victory Kodiaks!
