West Ada School Community,
We look forward to providing you safe and predictable transportation and school bus routes this year. If you plan on riding with us, please review your bus information on Traversa’s Ride360 webpage. This is your #1 source of current, accurate information for your students bus routes and stops, not PowerSchool.
Thanks to our new APP, all late bus information will be sent directly to mobile devices via push notification. In addition, bus routes can easily be tracked using the APP. To download the APP, please create an account and register your students here - https://IDWestAdaSD.myridek12.tylerapp.com/.
The first day of school is tomorrow, August 16 and is a Wednesday late start. Pease allow a grace period of up to 15 minutes after scheduled stop times as drivers work to safely pick up students and navigate first day of school traffic.
If you are not yet registered for a bus route, you may find your closest stop using our bus locator tool: https://idwestadasd.myridek12.tylerapp.com. Simply click “Find my Route”, enter your address, select the grade of your child, and choose either “Regular” or “Special” transportation and “Search”. Please note that the look-up tool will not work for schools of choice due to special routing and zone overlapping in the software. For assistance with schools of choice, please contact the West Ada transportation team directly at 208-350-4747.
For more information on West Ada School District transportation, please visit: https://www.westada.org/o/wasd/page/transportation

CONGRATULATIONS to our STUDENT OF THE WEEK, Venice Kim! This is what Mrs. Updike had to say: "Venice consistently goes beyond the expectations in her classwork. When completing an assignment Venice is careful to meet the requirements, but then pushes herself to go beyond what was taught. She is engaged in her classes and is always trying to get all she can from each learning experience. She goes beyond the Kodiak Way expectation of responsibility and takes true ownership of her education."
CNGRATULATIONS to our STUDENT OF THE WEEK, Landon Potter!
Mrs. Barfuss had this to say - "Landon excels in his school work, going above what is asked of him with his assignments. As soon as I ask for the attention of his class, he looks directly at me and is actively listening to the lesson and the instructions. He asks questions if he isn't sure about something to make sure that he is doing the assignments and assessments the best that he can. He is polite and kind to me and to those around him and works hard to be the best he can be. Thank you, Landon!"
Very important! School is not over yet!
During these last three days, please check our calendar dates in the newsletter for all of the deadlines and the FINALS SCHEDULE! Also, note: lost and found items will be donated if not picked up before June 8th.
