Text: Spalding STEM's Cleanest Classroom. Each week, our custodial staff recognizes a class that shows how to SOAR. This looks like: a Safe classroom space that is clean and picked up, a classroom space with the students take Ownership for the classroom materials and space, a classroom where students Aspire to have a clean and tidy space to learn, and a space where students are Resilient and put in the hard work of picking up after themselves. Picture: Background is sparklings and flowers of pink, white, and gold. Photo of a small play broom and dustpan on which is written- Clean and Tidy room!
This last week, our "Cleanest Classroom" Award was given to Ms. Egbert's Third Grade class. We are so proud of how well our students are working together to keep their classroom clean and ready for learning. #SpaldingSTEM #ForOurKids #SOARSpaldingEagles

Save My Family events are geared to provide parents/guardians with the tools, insights, and resources to better enable them to understand several of the major forces that are impacting kids’ psychological, emotional, and physical well-being. Save My Family has assembled a panel of experts to provide training and inspiration on how to successfully navigate the waters that kids and teens are caught in. Be enlightened by the experts including Officer Gomez, Former FBI Agent Hart, pediatric neurologist, Dr. Condie and event coordinator Kelli Rich. They’ll discuss social media, drugs, addiction, and other issues parents/guardians need to know to keep kids safe. All parents/guardians are invited. All kids ages 12* (ish) and older, or any age with a smartphone, are encouraged to accompany parents. *This discussion will include topics that may be difficult for small children.

Text: SEE TELL NOW! When you see something, tell someone, now! SEE- When you are in and around our school simply be aware of your surrounding. You may notice something that doesn't see right, looks odd, or is simply out of the ordinary. TELL- Tell someone at your school or call the police but tell someone. We want to know what is happening at our school and your observations are important. NOW- Do it NOW. Don't wait, don't hesitate. If something looks out of place to you, it likely is. Where the safety of our children is concerned it is better safe than sorry. Remember if you see something, tell someone, DO it NOW - SEE-TELL-NOW! Scan QR code or visit seetellnow.org to make/send a tip.

Spalding STEM is blessed to have wonderful Kindergarten Teachers. These experienced teachers help our youngest students get into the school routine and provide the necessary foundational instruction for all future schooling. We love our Kindergarten Teachers and the heart they have for teaching our students what it means to be a student. Thank you Kinder teachers! Spalding STEM is a better school because of you. #SpaldingSTEM #ForOurKids

For so many children at Spalding STEM, these educators are among their favorites. In addition to teaching some preferred subjects, the Specialists get to work with the same students many years in a row. Thank you to our Specialists for their dedication to making their subject matters exciting and engaging. STEM, PE, Health, Music, Library, and Computer classes are highlights of our school year. #SpaldingSTEM #ForOurKids
