Kindergarten Orientation and Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is approaching. Orientation will be on Tuesday, March 7th in the Seven Oaks Library. This is a time for parents/guardians to learn about Kindergarten at Seven Oaks, meet the Kindergarten teachers, the principal, tour the school and visit a Kindergarten classroom. This is an informational meeting, please leave your children at home. New Kindergartners will have their chance to come meet the principal and teachers during registration on Tuesday April 11th or Wednesday April 12th. Once you have completed the online registration at www.westada.org/page/kindergarten-registration please call or email the Seven Oaks office to make an appointment for one of the in-person registration dates in April. If you have questions or to make an appointment please contact Tina Clark at (208) 350-4095 or at clark.tina@westada.org.

Want a free ticket for your kiddo(s) to visit Roaring Springs Waterpark this summer?! Students can earn a free ticket by reading for 600 minutes (K-4th graders) or 800 minutes (5th graders) between now and March 17. Reading logs were sent home last week, but you can also go to the Seven Oaks PTA website at https://linktr.ee/sevenoakspta if you need to print another copy. Independent reading at home (or being read to) counts towards these minutes so keep track and turn the logs into classroom teachers when completed.

⚠️ REMINDER! ⚠️
There is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 17 for a Semester 2 Teacher Prep Day. Thank you WASD Faculty & Staff for all you do!

Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive is NEXT WEEK, November 14-18! The Eagle Food bank is low on items so we are rallying as a school to give back to the community. Specific needs are: canned meat/fish, canned stews, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, toilet paper, rice, canned fruit. To add a little fun to the drive, the class in each grade who collects the most canned food in one week will win a popcorn party! Students can put food items in the boxes outside of their classrooms.
