A GREAT BIG THANK YOU! The Eagle High giving tree was a HUGE success this year! With the help of our amazing staff and generous community, we were able to provide Christmas for 14 families! The families were overwhelmed with gratitude and so appreciative of the kindness. Thank you so much to the many parents, staff and organizations that helped us this year and especially to Kelly Pike for organizing this. EHS and our community are so lucky to have you!
Ag Green House students Piper (left) along with Kami and Peyton and Chris (not pictured) completed a Supervised Agricultural Experience project in Ms. Young's class. Their work can be seen on display in Eagle High School's front office 🌻🌼🌷
Eagle High School is excited to announce the first annual “Battle for the Bolt” spirit competition. We will compete against Owyhee High School during the varsity boy's basketball game next Tuesday, January 17th at Eagle High.
We want this to be a positive, unifying event for the Eagle community as we strive to win the first “Battle for the Bolt” trophy. We would appreciate any support (financial and otherwise) from our patrons to make this first annual event epic!
We are gratefully accepting financial donations to allow us to purchase decorations, shirts, props, and more to ensure that Eagle High puts its best foot forward in this competition. We also appreciate and welcome any community members who would like to help decorate or support in any other way. If you are willing to donate or help, please reach out to Johnny Hullinger, assistant principal, at hullinger.johnnny@westada.org .
Finally, for the charity portion of the competition, we will be raising funds for the organization Ghana Make a Difference. This charity provides shelter for children in Ghana who have been rescued from trafficking, been abandoned, or have special needs. The founders of Ghana Make a Difference have ties to the Eagle and Owyhee communities and do amazing work that has benefited thousands. Each school will raise funds by selling links of a paper chain for $1 each link. The chains will be assembled in the weeks leading up to the competition and displayed during halftime of the basketball game on January 17th. The school with the longest chain will win the competition. We want to win this! Please consider donating when funds are being collected for the chain in early January.
Thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please reach out to Johnny Hullinger at hullinger.johnny@westada.org
