Mrs. Johnson applied for a grant to buy a class set of mathematical board games from Math Pentathlon. She will use the games in class to enhance critical and mathematical thinking and then to allow the students to check them out like library books and play at home with their families. We love watching what you are doing with your students!

Have you visited Andrus and seen our specialists teaching small groups of students? Mrs. Rodgers, Mr. Jones, Mrs. Bradish, and Mrs. Boesch are not only teaching their specialized classes, but they are also supporting our students academically by teaching small groups based on their needs in Math and English Language Arts. Everyone at Andrus is working together to support our students!

Westy, Is West Ada’s school districts school nutrition mascot… he loves fruits and veggies and making sure every student eats their lunch. He was at Desert Sage this week enjoying whole grain chicken nuggets, baked french fries, fresh apples and 1%milk. Be sure to watch for some Westy Wisdom about nutrition coming soon….
