America’s Field Trip is a contest that invites students across the country in grades 3–12 to be part of America’s 250th anniversary by sharing their perspectives on what America means to them — with the opportunity to earn an unforgettable field trip experience at some of the nation’s most iconic historic and cultural landmarks. ALL Seniors and Juniors who are graduating on or before May 2025, you are REQUIRED to complete the Civics Exam as part of your graduation requirements.
Testing dates are January 27, 28, 30, 31. The Civics test is an online test, that will be proctored virtually during school hours. No testing on January 29th due to teacher collaboration and professional learning day. This is your LAST opportunity to take the test this year. In order to schedule your testing session, please contact either Mr. Peterson or Mr. Maxwell during regular school hours. You will need a district laptop, good internet connection, and an hour to complete the test.

This February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and the WCA Youth REPs, a group of Treasure Valley teens promoting healthy relationships, are hosting an art showcase with the theme “Finding Your Voice”. We are looking for young multimedia artists (ages 13-22) across the Treasure Valley.
