Students interested in Cheerleading for VMS next year should talk to Mrs. Clarke in room 116 to pick up an information packet. Carpe diem!
7th Grade Boys Basketball team took it upon themselves to honor team moms at their last basketball game of the season April 12th. Thanks to Tyus Wright-Hoskins's idea, all team players wore pink and with Tyus parents' help had flowers to give to two moms the team chose to honor.
Coach Kinnaman said, "I think it's very important to mention that this act of kindness was 100% player led. I am very proud of this team as they exemplified being leaders in their school community with their actions."
With much gratitude, VMS is proud to see our community come together in such a supportive way. #KodiakKind

Our two VMS Teams, Golden Girls & Ezra and Blazers Reborn, made valiant efforts but weren't able to make it to the IBOB Quarterfinals this year. Lowell Scott's team, Tillabook, took home the gold and Lake Hazel's team, Book Wurmz: The Sequel came in second.
Awesome job representing VMS:
8th grade team: Golden Girls and Ezra (Morgan Hunt, Kira Tarbet, Darcy Cluff, and Ezra Dayley)
6th grade team: Blazers Reborn (Brayden Shuldberg, Hudson Demars, Gus Forbes, and Vincent Wang)
Also, a special thank you to all helpers who made this event possible, especially Mrs. Bollinger and Mrs. Skaggs!

Dear Kodiak Family,
It has been an honor to serve as the Victory Middle School Principal for the last six years. While I am sad to leave VMS, I am excited for my new opportunity as the Director of Career and Technical Education for the West Ada School District. I will finish the school year as the Principal and begin my new role this July. At Monday's board meeting, Tracy Newell was recommended and approved to be the next Principal. Mrs. Newell comes with 15 years of administrative experience as an Assistant Principal at Sawtooth Middle School. I am confident VMS is in good hands!
Good luck to our TRACK & FIELD students at their Track Meet @ Rocky Mountain High vs. Sawtooth!

Besides hearing from our coaches what an awesome Winter session and Spring session we have had this school year, the competitions had some students and staff literally jumping in air impressively high. Student Council and Fuel Up to Play did a great job engaging the school in a fun afternoon of Kodiak Spirit right in time before this week's testing schedules! Great job, Everyone, proving as always that we continuously earn keeping our "Victory" name for academics and spirit!
