PARENTS, PLEASE COME TONIGHT TO THE VMS PTSO MEETING!
TODAY is the day the future of our VMS PTSO is decided at 7 p.m.! The VMS PTSO presidency is limited to two years; and currently we do NOT have a VMS PTSO board in place for next year, which could lead to the current VMS PTSO getting dissolved by default of missing an active board. This is not an issue teachers and students can fix. Our VMS PTSO NEEDS PARENTS to step up for this next year to guide all PTSO initiatives as determined by next year's board. Please look at the amazing PTSO we have had in these last 8 years and know we staff and students would not be the same without YOU PARENTS who actively support all fundraising initiatives. THANK YOU, VMS PTSO! We sincerely appreciate you and hope this is not the end of your existence tonight. TONIGHT's MEETING IS IN THE LIBRARY AT 7 p.m.!
CONGRATULATIONS to our STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH: Mrs. Kari Strickler and Mrs. Tanya Robinson! Both staff members were recognized for their outstanding work with students, staff and our VMS community within the classroom! Thank you for all you do! We appreciate you!
Parents, Please don't forget to pick up your child promptly at 5 p.m. after today's dance. Thank you!
***Students, feel like dancing? This Friday, May 10th at 3:15 until 5 p.m. bring your best "Under the Sea" dancing style to our school's cafeteria and be ready to have a blast thanks to our student council's efforts to make this event happen. Dance tickets can be bought at all lunches starting Tuesday of this week for $4, or at the door for $5. Don't miss the cool live DJ, raffle prizes, games, contests, photo booth and more!
