CONGRATULATIONS to our STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Zackary Killeen! Here is what Mrs. Lewis said about Zack:
"Zack is always a pleasure to be around in class. He contributes to a positive classroom environment by staying on task and reminding his classmates to be kind to one another. He is always willing to help and is ALWAYS a great source of fun information 😊"

Friday, May 24th, 2024, is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL for students. We sincerely thank you for an amazing school year of top achievements in many areas of VMS Kodiak life! We will be celebrating our last day on assembly schedule with food trucks and activities for students outside starting at 2:05 p.m. Students are not to bring any extra items to school tomorrow as we have done locker cleanouts today. Money for food trucks if desired, a pen to sign yearbooks, own yearbooks and anything else specifically requested by a teacher is advised . Lockers will not be accessible to students after 2:05 p.m.

Tonight, our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band students are performing in their year-end band concert here at VMS at 7 p.m. The concert is FREE and open to the public. We are all excited to hear and see these students perform!

A super huge THANK YOU to our current PTSO board and our future PTSO board! WE THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO FOR VMS!
