🌟 Staff Spotlight: This week, we're tipping our hats to our incredible counseling team, the Saddle Up Staff Members of the Week! 🤠 Their organization of Reality Town was a huge hit, providing valuable insights and experiences for our students. Their dedication to putting our students in the best possible position is truly commendable. 🎓💡 They're not just great at what they do, but they're also the easiest to talk to and always ready to lend a helping hand. 🤝 We're incredibly grateful for the amazing work they do at our school. Congratulations, and thank you for all that you do! 🌟

8th Grade Girls Basketball is rocking this winter. Go Star Cowboys!

The 8th Graders participated in Reality Town. This is a chance for the students to learn what it is like to run a monthly budget. They each got a job (they could dress up as their job) and possibly a family and then had to go to different booths to simulate those things we all deal with everyday. Thanks to our amazing counseling staff, admin and volunteers to make this happen the kids loved it!

We had such a great Veteran's Day Assembly. Thanks to Mr. Switzer and Mrs. Johnson for putting it on. Even the Mayor of Star stopped by!

Let's take a moment to appreciate the amazing Ms. Merritt, our rockstar 6th-grade math teacher! 📚✏️
Ms. Merritt is this weeks Saddle Up Staff Member of the week. Ms. Merritt has been the guiding light on our students mathematical journey. She has a true passion for teaching and a remarkable ability to make even the most challenging concepts seem easy and fun.

Congrats to Mrs. Graves for being our Saddle Up Teacher!

Congrats Mrs. Rawlings for being the Spur Award Winner!

Congratulations on our new Student Council Grade Level Representatives

🌟 Saddle Up Spotlight 🌟
Let's give a big shoutout to Mrs. Anderson, our phenomenal 6th grade English teacher! 📚 Not only does she bring her passion for literature into the classroom, but she also goes the extra mile by covering Noon duty in the lunchroom. 🍽️
Mrs. Anderson has quickly become a favorite among our students, and it's no surprise why. Her dedication and enthusiasm make learning an absolute joy! ✨ She creates a supportive and engaging environment that encourages our young minds to thrive.
But did you know that Mrs. Anderson has a hidden talent outside the classroom? 🐎 She's an avid horseman who trains in the art of dressage! 🏇 Her love for these magnificent creatures shines through, and it's truly inspiring to see her dedication to both teaching and her equestrian pursuits.
We're thrilled to have Mrs. Anderson as part of our middle school community, especially since this is her first year with us. She transitioned seamlessly from the elementary school, bringing her wealth of experience and fresh ideas.
