Michelle and Crystal bring an unparalleled dedication to their roles here at RHS, consistently going above and beyond expectations in order to best serve our students and staff. We are lucky to have these two wonderful members of the Renaissance family!

RHS students competed in the TSA(Technology Student Association) Spring leadership Conference this past weekend. Our RHS TSA students walked away with 35 medals, and the overall chapter CHAMPIONSHIP. Many students will now prepare to compete at the national conference this summer in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations, Voyagers!

A friendly reminder for students with D/F grades as of 2/15 at 3PM. Starting Tuesday, February 20th, students with D/F grades will be required to attend Advisory from 2:15-2:40 every day(no advisory on Wednesdays).

Due to recent school closures, next Wednesday(1/24) SCHOOL WILL BE IN SESSION. Wednesday will be a B day.

ATTENTION! Due to the recent snow days and subsequent school closures, BOTH Thursday(1/18) and Friday(1/19) will be B days.

There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday(1/15) in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day & Human Rights Day. School resumes Tuesday(1/16).

Winter Break is here!! There is no school December 25th - January 5th for Winter Break. On Monday, January 8th, students are out of school & teachers will have a prep day. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 9th (A-day). Have a safe and happy break!

This months Student Standout recipient is Colby Bond from Renaissance High School! When we asked the Renaissance High School Administration and Staff who they recommended as the next Student Standout recipient, Colby Bond was mentioned again and again. Colby is an active participant in the IB Diploma Program, speech and debate, and mentoring his peers. Colby contributes to the community through activities such as Irish dance, summer jobs, and was featured in an anti-substance abuse PSA with the Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition. Beyond his academic achievements, principled work ethic, and maintaining excellent grades, Colby is recognized for his inclusive, caring, and respectful treatment of others. As well as, advocating for those who may be uncomfortable or unable to speak up for themselves. For these reasons and more, Colby Bond is the next Meridian Police Department Student Standout Award winner for November 2023. Congrats Colby!
