This months Student Standout recipient is Colby Bond from Renaissance High School! When we asked the Renaissance High School Administration and Staff who they recommended as the next Student Standout recipient, Colby Bond was mentioned again and again. Colby is an active participant in the IB Diploma Program, speech and debate, and mentoring his peers. Colby contributes to the community through activities such as Irish dance, summer jobs, and was featured in an anti-substance abuse PSA with the Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition. Beyond his academic achievements, principled work ethic, and maintaining excellent grades, Colby is recognized for his inclusive, caring, and respectful treatment of others. As well as, advocating for those who may be uncomfortable or unable to speak up for themselves.
