There have been many questions about birthdays and birthday treats. At PVE, we love celebrating our students, and our teachers have their systems in place to recognize our students, but we also ask that you follow the plan that we have set:
- NO FOOD will be distributed, Due to National Health Policy, COVID, allergies, and other health issues, we will not be accepting food items (Please know we will turn those away if them come to the building.)
- Pencils and erasers are always needed, used, and loved by students.
- Think about donating a book or game in your child's honor to the classroom this year.
- Reverse the birthday celebration and have the student recognize their peers with notes of thanks.
Our teachers will make your child feel special on their day. And for those students who have summer birthdays, we will also recognize them. Your child's teacher will share how that will happen in their room.
Also, no deliveries of gift, balloons, or flowers to students will be made. (Please see the Elementary Handbook.)
