Thank you so much for all of your support for the band! This weekend they performed at the D3 competition (our championship competition) and placed 3rd in our division with 4th in color guard in our division. We are super proud of their progress and hard work!
If you’re interested, here are some other cool stats from this weekend:
We placed 7th overall. This is the highest the Owyhee Band has ever placed.
In music we placed 4th overall, going up against bands more than double our size. This is HUGE and we’re so proud of this.
We also placed 4th in percussion overall which is another huge win for us and we’re beyond proud of these students.
We were in a crazy competitive division this year and the band stepped up and had their best performance of the year.
