Congratulations to all the Band members who qualified for State at the DIII Festival on Wednesday! We want to give a big shoutout to Daya Werre (Clarinet), Merrick Ohlund (Multi Percussion), and Blake Breach (Timpani) who finished 1st in their divisions as well as DJ Peterson (Mallet), Tess Folkes (Trombone), and Ryleigh Davisson (Tuba) who finished 2nd. Once again, February 29-March 2nd MHS will be hosting the State of Idaho 3A Basketball Tournament. Hundreds of fans from across our State will be parking and joining us in the gymnasium. Please consider carpooling as parking will be tight.

Don't miss Advanced Opportunities Night tonight at MHS!
Advanced Opportunities Night is tonight starting at 6:00 pm in the MHS MPAC auditorium for 8-10th grade students. We will go over honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP), concurrent credit (dual credit), CTE courses and Fast Forward (Advanced Opportunities) funding. Following that information session, parents and students will have time to visit with representatives from the Boise State Sophomore Start and Associates program as well as various concurrent credit options at MHS.

Big Congratulations to Josh Hart on winning the 5A Individual Swim State Title for Breaststroke! Not only did he dominate the field, he smashed the previous event state record by 1.7 seconds with a 56.59! Amazing! We are so proud!

Attention seniors! Senior photos are due to the yearbook by December 1st. Don't miss this opportunity to submit your picture of choice to be included in the yearbook. Information on what types of photo and how to submit your photo was handed out in your English class at the beginning of October. Parent Teacher Conferences are this week!
Come visit with your student's teachers on Wednesday or Thursday from 4:00-7:45 pm. Teachers will be set up around various parts of the campus (academic hallways, cafeterias, library, study loft), and parents will freely float around to their child's various teachers, for a brief 10-minute conference about how they are doing in your class.
