Dear Parents and Guardians, We are pleased to invite you to our Back To School Night on Thursday, August 29th, which will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. To ensure a comprehensive and engaging experience, the event will be organized into three sessions, each lasting 20 minutes. Please note that this event is intended for adults. If possible, we kindly ask that you make arrangements to keep students and siblings at home to allow for a focused and uninterrupted evening. Back-to-School night is an opportunity to meet teachers and get some basic information from teachers. If you wish for a one-on-one, in-depth conversation with your student's teacher, you will need to set up a separate conference time. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing important information about the upcoming school year.

🗳️✨ Don’t miss the May 21 ballot, where you’ll find a crucial measure directly impacting education quality and safety in our district: the West Ada School District Supplemental Levy. It’s essential to understand that this levy isn’t a new tax but a replacement, designed to sustain vital support for our educational programs.
💼💰 Here’s a breakdown:
Salaries and benefits for 152 Teachers: $12,983,251
Contracted Services for 19 Student Resource Officers: $867,404
The estimated average annual cost to taxpayers on the proposed levy is $27.13 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions. This proposed levy replaces an existing levy expiring on June 30, 2024, which currently costs $27.43 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value. Therefore, if approved, the proposed levy is expected to decrease the tax per $100,000 of taxable assessed value by $0.30.
