Save My Family events are geared to provide parents/guardians with the tools, insights, and resources to better enable them to understand several of the major forces that are impacting kids’ psychological, emotional, and physical well-being. Save My Family has assembled a panel of experts to provide training and inspiration on how to successfully navigate the waters that kids and teens are caught in. Be enlightened by the experts including Officer Gomez, Former FBI Agent Hart, pediatric neurologist, Dr. Condie and event coordinator Kelli Rich. They’ll discuss social media, drugs, addiction, and other issues parents/guardians need to know to keep kids safe. All parents/guardians are invited. All kids ages 12* (ish) and older, or any age with a smartphone, are encouraged to accompany parents. *This discussion will include topics that may be difficult for small children.

Eagle Hills' students and teachers have done it again! Another top 10 list! Based on last spring's ISAT results, Eagle Hills students scored in the top 10 in math, ranking #3 out of all of the traditional public schools in Idaho. Eagle Hills' students were 15th out of the 740 public schools in Idaho. We were the second highest traditional K-5 elementary school. Eagle Hills was also in the 90th percentile for student growth in math and ELA. You can see more information on the SDE School Report Card site. Keep up the great work Mustangs!

Westy, Is West Ada’s school districts school nutrition mascot… he loves fruits and veggies and making sure every student eats their lunch. He was at Desert Sage this week enjoying whole grain chicken nuggets, baked french fries, fresh apples and 1%milk. Be sure to watch for some Westy Wisdom about nutrition coming soon….
