The West Ada Career Technical Education (CTE) Collision Repair program introduces students to the exciting and talented world of auto repair.  Students will travel to the CTE Center- Meridian Campus for this three year coursed pathway.  Students will combine traditional instruction with working hands on in a state of the art lab.  This large open lab is equipped with cutting edge industry standard equipment, environmentally sound water-based paints and booths, and state-of-art exhaust and flush systems.

Students will put their learned skills and education to use as they make real repairs on salvaged vehicles that are donated to the program.  Advanced students will receive extensive safety training, learn to handle hazardous materials, master panel replacement, painting and refinishing, thermoplastic, fiberglass repair and learn estimating skills.

  10th Grade, semester class

• Collision Repair II
  11th Grade, full year class

• Collision Repair III
  12th Grade, full year class

In the ever-growing automobile industry, collision repair mechanics will always be in high demand.  Most repair specialists often work a solid 40+ hours a week.  A collision repair specialist is trained to fix or replace damaged vehicle body parts and frames.  By utilizing many unqiue and creative techniques, auto repairers can transform damanged vehicles and restore them to almost-factory condition.
