Child Find

What is Child Find?

Child Find is a continuous process of public awareness activities, screening and evaluation designed to locate, identify, and provide support to all students with disabilities, ages 3-21.

Who is eligible for Child Find?

Whether your child is home-schooled, educated in a private or religiously affiliated school, or in the public school, our Special Services Department would like everyone in our West Ada community to be aware that all children, ages 3 through 21, are entitled to support if they are eligible for special education services. Support may include evaluations, assessments, services or consultation.

If you have concerns regarding your child’s developmental progress and they are aged 3-5, please see below for more information.

If you have concerns regarding your child’s developmental progress and they are school-aged, please contact your local school for more information or call 208-350-5122 and we can connect you with the correct staff member to answer question(s).
