Paying for College
FAFSA Application
Opens October 1st
Families of high school seniors:
Students may apply for financial aid for college starting October 1st.
Many colleges require that the FAFSA be filled out BEFORE February 15!
The deadline for FAFSA applications is June 30.
Remember: Financial aid deadlines are not the same as college admission deadlines. The FAFSA must be filed every year a student is in school.
Do you have questions about the FAFSA? Here is how to get answers:

Fast Forward Funding
The Fast Forward program provides every student attending an Idaho public school an allocation of $4,125.00 to use towards Advanced Opportunities in grades 7-12. The program was expanded by the Legislature in 2016 through the passing of House Bill 458.
Fast Forward funds can be used to pay for IDLA courses, concurrent credits, AP exams, some CTE test fees, and overload courses.
The Portal is open for a specific time frame for Fall, Spring, and Summer Classes (strict deadline set by the state).
* Registering for IDLA courses and requesting Fast Forward Funds are separate actions.
** To register for IDLA courses, please contact your counselor.
