Our wish was granted!

A HUGE thanks to the Idaho Lottery Classroom Wishlist program for granting $2,287 to purchase Beanstack and help promote a culture of reading at Victory Middle!
This software strives to "encourage reading by making it easy to create and promote reading challenges for their communities by tracking when, how much, and what they read." Beanstack has helped us elevate our district-wide Literary Games Challenge and, since November 1st, 2024, we've had 18 staff members read 171 books, and 47 students have 297 books! We've also set a building-wide student goal of reading 250,000 minutes during the second semester. That means each student only needs to read 233 minutes in the next four months- that's only 14 minutes PER WEEK.
I KNOW we can achieve this goal and can't wait to celebrate this awesome accomplishment in May! Until then, read on, Kodiaks, READ ON!
