I am super excited to announce that in addition to teaching science and being the Student Council advisor in 2023-2024, I will also be the head cheerleading coach here at Star Middle.  Cheerleading is my absolute passion.  I have coached the sport of cheer for over 25 years ranging from high school to all ages of all-star (tinys - seniors) and before moving to the Treasure Valley, I was the proud owner of my own all-star cheerleading and tumbling gym in Idaho Falls.  My focus has always been to coach the STUDENT athlete and I expect nothing but the best out of the athletes I coach as I hold them to a high standard of respect, dedication and discipline.

Some of my greatest professional accomplishments include a 3rd place national finish at the USA High School Nationals in Anaheim, California while I was the head coach of Skyline High School,  I am currently the only gym owner in the state of Idaho to have won a NCA national title to accompany the countless other national titles that have been won over the years and in 2019, right before I moved to the area, we finished our season with an  amazing 4th  place finish at the D2 Summit in Orlando, Florida.  

Personally, I am a mother of 5 that raised my kids in and around the sport of cheer.  I am extremely proud to be the mother of an all-star World Champion, as well as the mother of a current all-star cheer gym owner in Southeastern Idaho and I am currently raising my youngest to follow in their footsteps.  To say I love cheer, is an understatement.  I look forward to bringing my competitive gymnastics, collegiate cheer and vast knowledge of the cheerleading industry both in skill and safety as well as my personal training background to STMS to help build on to a program that has had a great start.  

I hope to introduce this amazing sport to those that are new and I'm anxious to further develop the skills for those that have already begun their journey.   Go COWBOYS!
