Financial Aid Information
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for students and families who are interested in receiving financial aid (i.e., Loans, Work Study, etc.) for college or career technical training programs after high school.
This year the FAFSA is undergoing major changes at the Federal level. Usually it is available for completion starting on October 1, but due to changes the Class of 2024 will not be able to complete it until December 2023/January 2024 when the updated FAFSA is released by the Federal government.
In the meantime, students and families are encouraged to complete an FSA ID, which is required to complete the FAFSA. Both the student and parent(s)/guardian(s) are required to have an FSA ID before they can submit the FAFSA.
More information on the FSA ID and process can be found at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch.
