2017-18 Testing Information
Kindergarten-3rd The Spring 2018 IRI will be given to all K-3 students the following dates: April 25, 26 and 27. The K-2 Math Outcomes test will be given the week of May 7-11
3rd-5th Grade The Spring 2018 ISAT (Idaho Standards Achievement Test) for 3rd-5th grade students will be given in April and May (specific dates to be determined.)

IRI Idaho Reading Indicator (required 30 letter sounds per minute)
1st Grade
Idaho Reading Indicator IRI (required 53 words per minute)
2nd Grade
Idaho Reading Indicator IRI (required 92 words per minute)

What is the Idaho Reading Indicator?
The current Idaho Reading Initiative (IRI) is given to all (K-3) public school students whom qualify.
The IRI is an early reading screener for students in K-3rd grade. The screener is mandatory for Idaho public school students in the Fall and Spring with an optional Winter assessment.
Different grade levels screen letter sound fluency, letter name fluency and reading skills.
The screener is set up with letter naming in kindergarten to reading fluency in third grade.
