2024 Fall Schedule

1. How do I create an Aktivate account? 
   EVERYONE will need to have an Aktivate account for the 2024-25 school year. Please do this by following the link and instructions on the WASD website: https://www.westada.org/page/aktivate 
   
   

2. My child will be a returning Owyhee athlete this year, and we made an Aktivate account last year. Do we need to make a new one?  
   No. The current Aktivate profiles will reset on May 31, 2024 and athletes with existing profile will be able to update their information. Physicals do not expire until the end of your athlete's sophomore/senior year. 
   
   

3. Why am I not cleared for my sport?
   Your Aktivate Profile will show your physical documents as “Incomplete” in Red until an Athletic Trainer can review your medical history and doctor’s clearance notes. When they have done this, it will show as “Complete” in Green. 

   
   
   

4. Who needs a physical?

   
   ALL Freshmen, Juniors, and TRANSFER/NEW students (MUST be dated after May 1st, 2024 to be eligible for any Freshman or Junior. If you are a Sophomore or Senior, your physical must be dated after May 1st, 2023. The physical form can be downloaded and printed from the Aktivate account, or the IHSAA website. PLEASE make sure you sign and upload both the FRONT and BACK of the IHSAA Physical Form.
   
   

5. When do I need to complete all paperwork?
   Before any practice or tryouts with your team. Once we get into fall practices starting August 12th, if you are not cleared, you will NOT be able to participate in any activities, conditioning, or practice. The coach will send you home and you could miss tryouts!
