Kristine started dancing at Dance Unlimited in Meridian at age three, training in ballet, jazz, technique, hip hop, and acrobatics. In high school, she was a four-year member and captain of Centennial's award-winning dance team, Sweet Liberty, earning solo awards including 2nd place at Nationals in California.

At Boise State University, Kristine pursued a B.A. in History, Secondary Education while also being a four-year member and captain of the nationally-ranked Maneline Dance Team, competing at USA Nationals and NDA in Florida.

With five years of teaching experience at various dance studios and expertise in technique, drill team preparation, and acrobatics, Kristine coached at Centennial High School. During her tenure, the team achieved high placements at state competitions and won three national titles.

Since joining Owyhee High School as the head coach, Kristine has continued to guide the team to success. In their second year, the Surge Dancers won the district and state championships. Kristine is thrilled to bring her experience, passion, and skill to the Dance Team at Owyhee High School. Go Storm!

ASSISTANT COACH

Tori Gee

Tori Gee

Tori Gee attended college at Brigham Young University graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Wellness. She was a member of the Nationally ranked and recognized BYU Cougarettes from 2013-2016. Cougarettes added 4 National titles to their current 20 titles in Jazz and Hip Hop during this time. While on Cougarettes, Tori also served as an officer.

Tori grew up here in Idaho. She trained at Studio C Academy of Dance in Eagle, Idaho. She has trained in several different styles including jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. She competed in several competitions/conventions throughout the northwest receiving several high score placements and scholarships. One of her high school highlights was being able to train in L.A. every summer with the top names in the dance industry. Tori was also a member of the Centennial High School Dance Team winning State and National titles. 

Tori taught at Aspire Dance Academy and Artistic Dance Project while living in Utah. She moved back to Idaho two years ago and is currently teaching at Studio C. Since joining Owyhee High School as assistant coach, Tori has continued to guide the team to success. In their second year, the Surge Dancers won the district and state championships. Tori is excited to continue working with Owyhee High School.
