Comments from West Ada alumni and BSU Associate Degree graduate, Angela Lam:

"I was a student at Rocky that graduated in 2019. Since then, I've been attending the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada and studying International Economics. I am so grateful that I did the program. Although the classes from my Associate's Degree didn't transfer directly to UBC, they did transfer as elective credits. 60 elective credits in fact."

(Angela's family had little out-of-pocket cost to pay for AA degree) "More than the positive financial return, having these extra transfer credits has opened up so many more doors for me. It allows me to take the bare-minimum course load to be considered a full-time student for the entire duration of my degree which, in turn, has allowed me to participate in several programs at my university... All in all, many of the opportunities I've been afforded in university have been in large thanks to the Associate's Degree program... Not only has it saved me time and money, but the butterfly effects of the transfer credits are paying massive dividends that I am still able to reap today."
