Owyhee High School opened its doors to students for the first time on August 26, 2021. OHS is one of six major high schools in the West Ada School District, the largest and fastest growing school system in Idaho. OHS is a four year co-educational public senior high school of approximately 1,500 students enrolled in grades 9-12. OHS offers honors, advanced placement and dual enrollment classes for students interested in college prep curriculum.

OHS operates under a Block Schedule, offering four periods per day. Classes are attended on alternate days allowing students to take eight classes per semester.
