Military & ASVAB

The ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. It is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide.
This military aptitude test is a great resource to arm you with knowledge about your skills, interests, and the requirements for the job you want, whether it is for military or career exploration. More information: HERE
There is no cost to take the exam and it is available to all 10th-12th grade students. MVHS offers this twice, once in each semester. Both have been offered for the 2024/2025 school year. Stop by the career center if you need assistance in locating another test site for this school year.

MILITARY VISITS at MVHS
Representatives from the military branches visit MVHS on a regular basis. The recruiters are available in THE PIT during lunch.

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test is for any student interested in the military--full-time, reserves, or National Guard. Contact military recruiters to arrange for the ASVAB test. There is no cost for the test.
