Senior Exit Questionnaire - Class of 2025
Senior will need to complete this survey to collect their Diploma on May 20th. Form needs to be completed through SCOIR.
Here are the directions to complete:
Step 1 - Go to Westada.org and login to “Student Apps”
Step 2 - Click on the Clever App
Step 3 - Click on Login with Microsoft Entra
Step 4 - Under Secondary Applications > Click on SCOIR Application
Step 5 - On SCOIR Landing desktop > Scroll down to “My Assignments” Section > Class of 2025 Senior Exit Questionnaire Final > Click “Go to Form” button
Step 6 – Once Questionnaire is complete, make sure to hit the “SUBMIT” button

Get your raffle ticket once you have completed 4 items complete all 10 and you get 3 tickets! Students who need assistance with college applications after the completion of College App Week, stop by the career center during free time!
Students will have 50 minutes to apply to Idaho Colleges in their Government classes. This event gives all high school students an opportunity to apply up to 10 Idaho Colleges. Its the APPLY Idaho APP and we walk students in class through this process.
10 Colleges = 1 Application / College Swag / College Rep Support
Its turned into a fun event that allows students to knock it off their to-do list!
No student is required to apply, but highly encouraged. Back up plans are part of strategic post secondary planning process.

Creating an FSA ID Number takes 3+ days, complete in the fall to speed up the process.

What: Idaho LAUNCH is an education and training grant program that provides students a one-time opportunity to have 80% of tuition and fees at an eligible institution covered, up to a max amount of 8K. Able to offer 9,000 - 10,000 awards each year.
Eligibility
Be a graduate (Class of 2024) from an Idaho high school, home school or GED.
Be an Idaho Resident
Be enrolled in or have applied to an eligible Idaho institution
begin enrollment by fall semester after graduation

College Athletics
Military
Navy, Army, Army National Guard, Marines, Air Guard, Coast Guard, Space Force, and Air Force recruiters will be in the "Pit" area of the main entrance once a month to meet with interested students. These visits are currently being setup and will be added as booked here!

AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps service is an opportunity for high school graduates or those receiving their GED to participate in a summer of service, take a gap year to explore career opportunities and gain real-life experience, or serve while pursuing a college degree. There are opportunities to serve in Idaho or across the United States. Attached are flyers providing information about AmeriCorps programs in Idaho and below are some highlights and upcoming opportunities.

AmeriCorps Programs Operating in Idaho:
Student Conservation Association – Members serve from May-October in a residential program where they will earn wilderness first responder certification, chainsaw or rigging certification, leave no trace outdoor ethics trainer certification while providing backcountry trail maintenance, historic preservation and fuels reduction in the Salmon-Challis National Forest.
Gem State Public Health AmeriCorps – Members serve at nonprofit or governmental agencies enhancing the capacity of those organizations to provide public health services. Members receive professional training and QPR and ASIST certifications as part of their service.
Ampact Reading Corps – Members serve as reading tutors to K-3 students in the Magic Valley and participate in training, career connections, and develop valuable career skills.
University of Idaho 4-H Extension – Members help underserved youth build important life skills by delivering hands-on STEAM education. Members receive training on time management, managing stress, design creative solutions for challenges, decision making styles and more.
Idaho HealthCorps – Members address the health needs of Idaho’s lower-income children and families in rural and underserved areas.
Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute – members provide environmental education and conduct environmental restoration projects throughout the state.
Summer Opportunities:
AmeriCorps NCCC is an opportunity for youth 18 – 26 years old to travel across the United States performing service in communities. They are excited to announce that "Summer of Service" is returning. This shorter summer session returns with projects focused on climate mitigation, affordable housing, and the option to serve where the need is greatest. Deploy from Aurora, CO., or Vinton, IA, for three months of training and service. Program benefits include food, lodging, a modest living allowance, uniforms, and program-related travel expenses are all covered by AmeriCorps NCCC. In addition, members will receive a post-service education award. Apply by March 31, 2024.
Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute Positions: This opportunity is available for individuals 18 and older to serve in Idaho. Applications will be accepted a month prior to start dates. Program benefits include:
Living stipend $7,418 to $5,564*
Education award $2, 626.27 to $1,824.07*
*amount based on service term and full/part time service)
University of Idaho 4-H Extension: This opportunity is available for individuals 18 and older to serve in Idaho. Applications accepted March 30 – April 30, 2024. Various locations: 4-month term beginning mid-May, 30-40 hours/week.
Program benefits include:
$6,000 living stipend
$1,956.35 education award
In-person training with travel reimbursement
Programs are flexible regarding back-to-school schedules in August
