Dear Students and Parents,

I'm entering my 6th year at Meridian High School and I honestly couldn't imagine not being a college and career counselor or working at any other high school. MHS, with it's pride, traditions, and amazing students and staff are the reason I am a warrior for life.

A little about me, we are a family of 6 and native to Idaho. My husband is a pilot so we get to go on many adventures together. When I'm not at school, you can find me hiking, camping, reading a good book, baking, or just simply relaxing.

My favorite part about my role is helping my students and their families plan for their unique post secondary goals. Another favorite is helping students get ahead with advanced college courses while in high school which also helps them to save money in the long run!

I highly recommend that students take advantage of Idaho Career Information System.  CIS provides the opportunity to explore hundreds of occupations and education and training programs. It also offers an exploration component where students can use various assessments related to occupations, schools, financial aid/scholarships and skills. 

There are many scholarship websites to start exploring even as early as your freshmen year! A few of the most used scholarship websites include Big Future by College Board,  Next Steps Idaho, and Student Scholarships
