Cross Country

Are you interested in LHMS Cross Country?!

Then you should join us! Cross country is a great team sport that allows you to perform to your best individual abilities.

The races are 1.5 miles long (That’s only 6 laps around the track, if you’re curious), and you will train according to your ability level. So, you don’t have to be worried about really long practices that you just aren’t ready for yet, but we’ll get you there before the season is over. It’s a lot of fun and you get to be a part of a team before school even starts!

If you are interested, practice starts on August 14th at 3:30pm. If you plan on joining be sure and start running 3-4 days a week this summer. You can jog/walk at a pace that gets you winded for 15-20 minutes, and that will get you started! We hope to see you at practice.

Practices will be Mondays - Thursdays from 3:20 - 4:30. Coach Presnell will communicate if there is any changes to the schedule.

There will be a mandatory parent/player meeting on Thursday, August 15th at 5:00pm - this will be in the main gym

To sign up, you will need to complete the participation forms found on the link below - you may do this online or print off the forms and return them to us the first day of practice.
