I have been a school counselor in West Ada School District for the past 27 years. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with so many extraordinary colleagues, students, and families. I am looking forward to this new journey with IFAA and hope to continue to build meaningful connections with students and staff.

I believe that every child can learn and grow to their full potential. My goal as the College and Career Counselor is to provide students with the opportunity to help determine their next steps are in developing a plan to achieve their post-secondary goals and dreams.

I am also the College and Career Counselor for Rebound School of Opportunity and Virtual School House which are also in West Ada. Additionally, this year, I will be working with middle schools to provide vaping prevention, intervention and information to students and parents.

In my off-school hours, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, Brian and two grown sons, Dalton and Brenton who live locally. I especially enjoy playing with my grand puppy, Luna, who is the sweetest little girl and taking my senior shih-tzu, Tuxedo out for walks in the stroller. I have many crafting interests which I hope to, someday, parlay into a small business.
