BotBall: The Jr. Botball and Senior robotics teams are comprised of students grades 4th through 12th.  The Jr. Botball students learn to code a Botball robot, using C coding language, to successfully complete challenges.  The Botball robotics team builds the competition game board in January and competes with schools throughout Idaho in the spring.  The Botball team travels in July to compete with Botball teams around the world at the Global Competition for Educational Robotics (GCER).

HAM RadioGalileo was one of 13 schools to be awarded an Amateur Radio on on the International Space Station (ARISS) proposal.  Following the award of the ARISS proposal, Galileo created a HAM Radio club for students grades 3rd through 8th. Galileo was able to contact the ISS in September of 2019 to speak with an astronaut on the ISS.  The local Ham Radio Association meets with the students one afternoon each week to teach the science behind HAM Radio.  This includes antennas, radios, electronics, and preparing the students to take their initial technician HAM Radio license test.

MathCounts is a national middle school mathematics competition that builds problem solving skills and fosters achievement through four levels of fun, in-person "bee" style contests. Students from grades 6-8 meet once a week from October to February improving our math skills through fun and competition. 

The National Junior Honor Society is for seventh and eighth grade students who are selected based on their demonstration of showing good character, scholarship, leadership, service and citizenship. Students do service projects throughout the school and community. Students can apply at the end of both sixth and seventh grade and must have at least a 3.0 GPA. 

Student Leadership is for 6th-8th grade students who want to lead their school into new horizons. Students have the opportunity to hold an office, make decisions in the school, and serve their school community.
