    3. Fundraising is vital to our program's growth. We need everyone's support, connections and efforts to help move our program forward.

      1. We will be working in the next 6th months with softball to fundraise $150k to $200k for a brand-new indoor hitting facility that will be much larger than our current building. Currently we have a 100' x 40' facility. The new building (which softball was able to get as a donation) is 100' x 90'. It is a warehouse building and the school district is on board to help us get it done by next December. They are currently having plans drawn. This is major news for us and for both of our programs. Please get involved in helping our campaign for building a new facility. We will be looking for major corporate sponsors and small business or family sponsors.

      2. Beyond the indoor facility, we need to fundraise for our year-to-year needs. Please check out our Legacy Bricks, or just making a financial donation to our program, which is tax deductible.

      3. We will be looking at potentially holding a Fundraising Event in April. More information to come.

      4. If possible, please start thinking about and/or reaching out to businesses and people you know who would be interested in helping our program financially.  FYI - Places like Scheels already donates a lot of money to West Ada, so please contact me if it's a national company before you reach out to places.

      5. FYI - We do not get a budget for Baseball from the school or district office. Everything we do is through fundraising ourselves. We have been able to do so much with our facility in the last year that has transformed the look. We will continue to build a place that families can be proud of, and the community can be proud of. It's a team effort!

      6. You can contact me directly if you have any ideas regarding Fundraising at deck.scott@westada.org

      7. We are currently trying to fundraise for a new outfield Custom Windscreen for our brand-new outfield fence. The cost is $14,500.

13. Program Rules

            a. I will post our Program Rules and you will also be required to sign in-acknowledgement of our rules at the parent meeting              after teams are made.

14. Frosh Team

            a. After try-outs, if there are enough players that did not make the Frosh Team, and if we can find a coach, we would               consider placing a 14U team in the Idaho Club League, so all of the kids have a place to play. It would be a Frosh                  Developmental team.

15. Team Cleats for 2025 = White

            a. It doesn't matter the brand, but all of our teams will wear white cleats this year. Only white and black, all white or white                 and green.

16. Physicals

            a. All Players on the JV and Varsity Teams are required to have a physical. Physicals are good for two years. More info to                come on that at our meeting.

17. 10-day rule

  1. All JV and Varsity Players are required to have ten days of practice starting February 28 in order to play in the first game.
