We have the P.O.W.E.R. to learn!

* The learning pit is a great visual for students to begin understanding the process of how we learn, and that learning can make us feel uncomfortable or frustrated but that we have tools, strategies, and dispositions that help us learn.

Student learning is our focus here at Eagle Hills.

To support students in owning their learning, we have incorporated building understanding of how to learn through the use of the learning pit and learner dispositions.

We focus on P.O.W.E.R. learner dispositions to help us through the learning process.

During our day we encourage students to recognize themselves and others using the learner dispositions. P.O.W.E.R. tickets are given out to students and they explain how they used the disposition to support in their learning. The tickets are read over the morning announcements to recognize the great work of the students.
