Transferring College Credits

Transferring credits is a process where some or all of the concurrent credits you have earned during high school are applied toward your degree at your chosen College or University.  If a course you have taken is equivalent, you can count toward graduation the credits earned in that course just like you had taken the course at your chosen College or University.  If the course is not equivalent, the credits will likely count as general elective credits.

The links below will take you to course equivalency guides at Boise State University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Idaho State University, and the University of Idaho.  The information at these sites will tell you how your concurrent credits will transfer to these institutions.

For any other school, please contact the College/University Admissions Office for the course equivalency policy or check out Dual Course Transfer (Idaho schools only).

Collegetransfer.net is a national database that can help you see how your credits transfer to institutions outside of Idaho.
