Welcome to 4th Grade!

Education and Experience

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Boise State University with an endorsement in Literacy. For two years, I taught 5th graders and loved the challenge of the both the curriculum and the students! I currently teach 4th graders; love this age group and the curriculum! I think I would be happy teaching any grade level because I just love to learn! Additional professional development and college credits I have earned since my graduation is a reflection of my desire to continue learning and improving my teaching skills. 

Philosophy

Communication is critical in any endeavor for excellence. 4th grade is an opportunity to take responsibility for one's own learning which is key in helping students reach for the stars. With high expectations and accountability, I encourage my students through positive reinforcement beyond grade level benchmarks, reaching as far as their imaginations can stretch.
