The purpose of the Classroom Innovation and Creativity Grant is to empower West Ada teachers to innovate in their classrooms and deepen student-learning. Funding can be used to enrich a current teaching practice or initiate new learning opportunities.

This application will ask for the price of each item you plan to purchase (including shipping). We recommend gathering this information before starting the application.

Special consideration will be given to projects that are:
- Student-centered
- Provide creative and innovative solutions to classroom challenges
- Create a culture of learning
- Include plans for sustainability

All applications must be submitted by midnight, February 7, 2025. For questions regarding the application, please email grants@westada.org.

1.      How long will it take to complete the application?
We hope this application can be completed in 1 hour or less. We recommend reviewing the application before starting to expedite the process.

2.      If awarded, when will funds be distributed? How long do you have to use funds?
We hope to distribute funds before Spring Break. Funds should be used by the end of the 2024-25 school year.

3.      Is there anything the Foundation will not fund?
At this time, we are open to all proposals for funding. The most important thing is that the project you propose has a clear connection to student learning. Note: Funding will only be considered for West Ada School District teachers.

4.      Is it possible to get partial funding?
Yes. If you have other monetary support (from grants, PTA/PTO, or other donations) please let us know!
