Are you looking for a class that is fulfilling?  A place where you can make a difference?  Do you like helping others?  While registering for classes, please consider signing up to be a peer tutor next year.  We are looking for responsible, kind, patient, encouraging people to help students with special needs achieve their goals.  If you are interested come get an application from Mrs. Turner in Room 188 or in the Counseling Office.  You must have a 2.5 or higher GPA, great attendance and a signature from your assistant principal.

Junior Girls:  Northwest Nazarene University will be hosting Girls State from June 11 - June 16.  Participants will learn how to get involved in the functioning of their state's government in preparation for their future roles as responsible adult citizens!  This is a great thing to have on your college resume and a great opportunity to learn leadership skills!  Interested students must complete an interview Form and return it to Mrs. Decker in the counseling office no later than February 24th.  Interviews will be held March 4 at the American Legion in Meridian.   Your junior English and US History 11 teachers have the application packets or you can get one from Mrs. Decker in the counseling office.  There is a cost, but the American Legion has some scholarship money to help offset a portion of the fee.  Interested junior girls...pick up a packet and learn more!!
